Since 2012, Jay has been involved in the virtual currencies space, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, and has been keeping informed and active with all tax laws on an ongoing basis. As a result of his involvement and deep level of understanding, he is one of the leading cryptocurrency tax accountants for both individuals and firms investing in the space.

Prior to JC Crypto CPA, Jay worked for CPA firms, nonprofits, real estate, and property management companies in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Jay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.
